Dayna Gums, LGSW
Therapist
Dayna is a Licensed Graduate Social Worker (LGSW) who is passionate about supporting individuals and families of all ages as they navigate life’s challenges. She provides compassionate, evidence-based care in a welcoming environment where clients can feel heard, supported, and empowered.
With a diverse background and a broad knowledge base, Dayna takes a thoughtful and flexible approach to therapy. She focuses on identifying and addressing the root causes of challenges rather than focusing solely on surface-level symptoms, encouraging meaningful and lasting change.
Dayna tailors her approach to meet each client’s unique needs, integrating a variety of therapeutic perspectives such as Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Polyvagal Theory.
Outside of her professional work, Dayna enjoys spending time with her children, baking, tending to her garden, playing video games, reading, and connecting with friends.
