I believe everyone deserves quality mental health care. Mental health IS health.

After a long first career as an artist, I came to realize I wasn’t satisfied with my contribution to the world. I returned to school for a master’s in social work so that my sense of purpose and meaning can better align with my life’s work. Having made this mid-life shift, I know that change is possible. I draw from multiple evidence-based treatment modalities, always with a client-centered, compassionate, and trauma-informed approach. I will work with you to identify and use your strengths to navigate the changes you wish for yourself. Whether you are seeking support to get out of a stuck place, to process the past, or work through a tough life transition, I am honored to walk alongside you on your path of healing and growth.

I grew up in a family of teachers and educators, and believe we are all life-long learners. In my personal life, I both love to travel, and I am a homebody. I value quiet time to myself, as well as my relationships with my husband, two young adult daughters, extended family and dear friends, usually over shared meals and conversation. When Minnesota is thawed, I love to garden – I find weeding and digging my hands into the dirt to be very therapeutic.
